Terms of use

1. Who runs Realms

Realms is made and run by Ole Oldhoj, Denmark (ole.oldhoj@gmail.com). By playing you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use the game.

2. Fiction

Realms is a game. All houses, heroes, warlords, monsters and events in it are made up, and any resemblance to real people or organisations is coincidental. The realms, cities and districts are invented; their street plans are drawn from real maps (OpenStreetMap) only as a setting.

3. Game gold

The gold shown in the game is not real, has no value and can't be bought, sold or exchanged.

4. Free, and as it is

The game is free. We provide it "as is": we try to keep it running and fair, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of bugs, or that your hero and saved season will never be lost (they are stored on your device; clearing your browser data removes them). We may change, pause or stop the game at any time.

5. Play fair

Don't try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or its server, don't copy the game to publish it as your own, and don't use it for anything illegal.

6. Liability

As far as Danish law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of game progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.

7. Credits and licences

8. Privacy

How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy. In short: your game is stored on your device and nothing about how you play is sent to us.

9. Law and changes

These terms are governed by Danish law. If we change them we update this page and the date at the top; playing after a change means you accept the new version.
